Nirmal Mangar is a well known journalist of Sikkim. He is a face of media conclave in Sikkim. Presently he is a correspondent of the national daily 'The Telegraph'. He is also an anchor and a philanthropist. He was awarded with the State Award in the year 2007 for his outstanding contribution towards media and journalism in Sikkim. He is also associated with the Mayalmu Shelter Home for Destitute, Gangtok. He hosted the most popular show of Sikkim- 'Miles to Go' and also associated with All India Radio.
