Faces of Social Campaign - Jashoda Chettri

Jashoda Chettri is an IEC coordinator at Chief Minister's Office, Government of Sikkim.She also worked as a Proofreader in Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Sikkim,
Special Correspondent and Assistant Editor for Sikkim Express,a leading English daily published from Sikkim and a
Field Assistant in an AusAID funded Water & Sanitation project in Gangtok, Sikkim. She also worked as a Sikkim Correspondent for Himalayan Travel Trade Journal, an international travel magazine published from Nepal. She is English Graduate from Calcutta University and she completed her Post Graduate Programme in Broadcast Training Programme from NDTV, New Delhi, India.

She is associated with various organizations. She is a member of Rotary International. She also served as President of Rotary Club of Gangtok South as President. She is also member of Civil Defence,Women Power Connect, a national level organization of women’s groups and individuals working together for formalizing the process of legislative coordination,National Service Scheme Advisory Committee of Sikkim University and a
Sikkim Coordinator for Association for Conservation & Tourism, a West Bengal based NGO working for sustainable development in Eastern Himalayas.

Ms. Jashoda Chettri is mostly interested in writing, reading., travelling, Women’s Health and Education, Gender Equality, Wellness and Alternative Therapies, Spirituality, Charitable/ Social Causes, Sustainable Development, Community Development & Empowerment.
